Since LG has announced the first dual rear camera phone LG X Cam last year in 2015, we are expecting it to be come to use in 2016. And now the roll out date of LG X Cam is confirmed. The LG X Cam will begin to roll out this week, started from the phone brand’s hometown South Korea, then spread out to other key phone markets such as Europe, America and Asia. LG X Cam is 2016 first dual camera smartphone that with confirmed rolling out day, at the time of the other top phone maker Huawei has just leaked out their dual camera phone Huawei P9. Not mentioning the fierce competition between the phone makers, LG X Cam has its own features, and many users have estimated the expected price of the dual camera smartphone. Let’s check what features LG X Cam offer and what’s the expected price of the dual camera smartphone.

LG X Cam Feature: Design

LG X Cam has a metal unibody and the design of this dual camera phone is really simple as most Android smartphones. The 5.2 inch touch screen and two bars are on the front, with the phone maker’s company logo at the bottom bar for easy recognition that this is a LG smartphone. The front camera is at the top bar, along with the notification button. LG X Cam uses metal frame to connect the front shell with the back cover, which has a similar color as front shell. All the buttons of LG X Cam, like power buttons and volume controls on the right side, are also made of metal. The headphone jack and USB port are on the same bottom side, leaving the top side of LG X Cam aside the metal back cover as a whole. On the back cover of LG X Cam, there are the dual rear cameras, along with a LED flash in the same projecting square block.

LG X Cam features a 5.2 inch IPS LCD touchscreen of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 424 PPI pixel density, the screen-to-body ratio of LG X Cam is up to 68.7%, providing a better viewing feeling.

LG X Cam sports a 1.14GHz octa-core processor, along with the 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, this dual camera phone will provide a good performance for multitasking and playing games.

LG X Cam Feature: Dual Cameras

Dual rear cameras might be one of the best selling point of LG X Cam, which is commonly seen as dual camera phone but actually three-cameras phone, two dual rear cameras with one front camera. The 13 MP and 5 MP rear cameras support autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and panorama. In addition to the dual rear camera, there is an 8 MP front camera for selfie.

Positioned as a midrange smartphone, LG X Cam will be available for buying soon with a price between $400 and $600 since the company has confirmed the dual camera smartphone’s globally roll out plan.
