As one of the Huawei’s breakthrough device and 2016’s flagship smartphone, Huawei P9 has received a great number of expectation and attention, not just because the Chinese phone brand has a good reputation in international smartphone industry for its high quality and beautiful design, but also because Huawei P9 will be the first Huawei smartphone to feature dual rear cameras from Leica, which is a camera manufacturer famous for its camera sensor. Before, we all suspected what specs will Huawei P9 feature and what the price will this dual camera phone position? And even what will Huawei P9 look like? From many of the leaked images, we approximately have an overview of Huawei design and appearance, now the specs and benchmarks of Huawei P9 are digged by some phone enthusiasts and Huawei P9 fans on GFXbench and AnTuTu benchmarks.
Huawei P9 specs and benchmarks on GFXbench
An image from GFXbench indicates that Huawei P9 is going to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow mobile OS and have a 5.1-inch FHD touchscreen of 1920 x 1080 pixels display and at least 5 finger gesture support. The SoC that Huawei P9 will sport is the HiSilicon Kirin 955 which is an octa-core processor with big.LITTLE CPU featuring four Cortex-A72 cores clocked at up to 2.5 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores. Along with the HiSilicon Kirin 955 chip, Huawei P9 will have the Mali-T880 GPU and 3GB of RAM to make sure that Huawei P9 have a good performance in hardware specs and benchmarks for multitasking and image graphics. The standard version of Huawei P9 will have an internal storage of 32 GB. From the GFXbench, HuaweiP9 will feature a 13 MP resolution for rear camera on the back and an 8 MP selfie snapper, but the GFXbench image of Huawei P9 benchmarks does not show that Huawei P9 is a dual-rear camera phone that will feature two rear cameras on the back that most of leaked design images has showed.

Huawei P9 specs and benchmarks on AnTuTu
AnTuTu specs and benchmarks image of Huawei P9 shows almost the same specifications like GFXbench: The Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the HiSillion Kirin 955 CPU with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, the FHD touch screen, the 13 MP resolution of rear camera and 8 MP front selfie camera. The AnTuTu benchmarks can’t detect that Huawei P9 will have two rear cameras either. And the only spec and benchmark difference of Huawei P9 on GFXbench and AnTuTu is the memory and storage. On GFXbench, Huawei P9 will have a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, but on AnTuTu, Huawei P9 will feature a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. However, we think two images of Huawei P9 specs and benchmarks are correct as there will be different variants of Huawei P9. It is rumored that Huawei P9 will have at least three editions, the Huawei P9 Lite, Huawei P9 and Huawei P9 Max. It is also rumored that a fourth version will be available with a name of Huawei P9 Pro. But all these suspicions and rumors will be clarified and confirmed on Huawei P9’s release event on April 6 in London.
