Since Motorola has been merged by Lenovo as one of the Lenovo’s subsidiary, the Motorola mobile has not yet release new smartphones yet. But recently, it seems that Lenovo begins to release 2016 new phone for updates of Motorola Moto X smartphone. The new device features a model name of Moto X3, which is showing up in a listing over at Zauba - a website that tracks imports and exports to and from India. On the website, the new device is listing with a name of "Motorola Moto X3", though the "Motorola" branding is unlikely to be used on the final product for sale and will be replaced with "Lenovo" brand.
According to the listing on Zauba, the new Motorola device that is called the Motorola Moto X3 will feature a 5-inch touch screen that supports Capacitive 5-points multi touch. It seems that Motorola Moto X3 will be a single SIM GSM phone. If this device is going to release, it will be the first Motorola smartphone to carry a Lenovo-Moto branding.
From the Zauba listing, we can see the price of Motorola Moto X3, Rs 6812. If this device is price at Rs 6812 for retail price, the upcoming Motorola Moto X3 will be positioned as a low end smartphone with budget cost. However, the other specifications like processor specification, display resolution specification, RAM specification, storage specification and cameras specification have not yet been revealed from the Zauba listing. We expect these specifications details to emerge soon as the company will reportedly be unveiling a high end smartphone Moto X later this year, along with the new entry level cell phone Moto E and a mid-range phone Moto G.
Last week, another two Motorola phones, Moto E series models - XT1700 and XT1706 were also spotted on GFXBench. Both Lenovo-Moto devices have some similar specifications with a 5-inch HD display, MediaTek quad-core processors MT6735P SoC bundled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 8 MP rear camera with 5 MP front selfie camera and running the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Just from the India Zauba listing, we can’t get more specs of upcoming Motorola Moto X3 except the 5.0-inch touch screen and the single SIM specs, but it is sure that more and more specifications of Moto X3 will be unveiled from the company soon.
