MediaTek reveals its 10-core MT6797 Helio X20 chip

In the middle of April, MediaTek, the company whose chips have normally been seen in low-end budget models from China (until recently), was the first to offer a true octa-core chipset back in 2013. Now, a report out of China states that the chipmaker has displayed its next-gen product at a special event. Companies that showed up to take a gander included Xiaomi and Vivo.
