ZTE is a traditional Chinese phone maker and have released many popular devies like Nubia Z9, the first bezel less phone, and the Nubia Z11 mini, another bezelless smartphone released in this month. Now the rumors that ZTE would release a new 6.44-inch big screen phablet named Nubia X8 never stops since the beginning of 2016. Some sources indicate the new ZTE Nubia X8 is the successor to Nubia X6 and it is also a big screen phablet that will feature the same big screen of 6.44-inch like ZTE Nubia X6, but comes with a higher resolution of 2K touch screen with 2560 x 1440 pixels and the SoC chip will be changed to Snapdragon 823 to power the ZTE Nubia X8.

Even the rumors of the ZTE Nubia X8 spread out, but from the latest news, it is supposed that the Chinese company will release ZTE Nubia X8 around the end of 2016, and this 6.44-inch big screen phablet might be available for China users at first after its official release.
The price might be the most careful part, and it is estimated that the ZTE Nubia X8 will be released with a price tag below RMB 3000 (around $450).
Review ZTE Nubia X8 Specifications: Hardware and Storage
According to the latest news from Weibo (a Chinese Twitter), the ZTE Nubia X8 will have three variants based on the device’s SoC chip and storage.
ZTE Nubia X8 standard model will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, doubled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. See the Snapdragon 820 smartphones list.
ZTE Nubia X8 midrange model will be powered with Snapdragon 820, paired with 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of inbuilt storage.
ZTE Nubia X8 flagship device will feature Snapdragon 823, combined with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage. See the 6GB RAM smartphone list.
Snapdragon 823 is a new SoC chip that has not yet confirmed and released, but its specifications are rumored online: The Snapdragon 823 SoC chip continues to use the same generation as its predecessor Snapdragon 820, using Samsung 14nm LPP manufacturing process and two dual core clusters of Qualcomm’s custom application core design, the Kryo 100 application processor. And it is expected that at least one of the two clusters will be clocked at a higher frequency than the current Snapdragon 820. The Snapdragon 823 is also rumored to use Cat 12 / 13 LTE support with a maximum download speed of 600 Mbps and offers Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. And the Snapdragon 823 SoC chip is expected to be released in the second quarter 2016.
Review ZTE Nubia X8 Specifications: Display and Design
All the three Nubia X8 models will have similarly sized 6.44-inch touch screen, but with different display resolutions. The standard version of ZTE Nubia X8 features 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution display, the midrange ZTE Nubia X8 features QHD 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution display and the flagship ZTE Nubia X8 features UHD 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution display.
From the leaked images, the ZTE Nubia X8 will have a metal Unibody like Elephone S3 and a big circular camera is on the rear with dual LED flash, below which locates the fingerprint scanner, but the details of the primary camera is not yet confirmed. The leaked images also show that the upcoming ZTE Nubia X8 has a big screen-to-body ratio.
